Nearby, you'll find two public beaches and a state park. Coco Plum is a mere 12-minute drive away, Sombrero Beach is just 5 minutes from the home, and Curry Hammock State Park is reachable in 15 minutes.

Booking Policies:
Minimum Stay: A 7-night minimum stay is required by city regulations, with no exceptions. The city determines the maximum occupancy, and it cannot be exceeded, covering adults, children, and infants.
From November - April, there is an additional $150 charge/week for pool heat. We do recommend heating the pool during this time for optimal comfort and enjoyment. You may contact us if you do not want to have the pool heat on, for a $150 discount.
Cancellation Policy: We maintain a strict 60-day cancellation policy. If the cancellation is made at least 60 days before the arrival date you can cancel your reservation and receive a full refund, excluding processing and admin fees. If you cancel within 60 days of the arrival date and we are able to secure another booking for the same time by opening the calendar, you will receive a full refund, minus processing and admin fees. If we are unable to secure another rental for the specified time, the security deposit will be the only amount refunded.
Payment Schedule: Half of the rent and the security deposit are due seven days after booking online, with the full balance required 60 days before check-in. Payment options include credit card or check after signing the contract. A 3.5% fee applies to credit card transactions, which can be waived by opting for payment via check. Please inform us of your preferred payment method after booking. For last-minute bookings, a credit card will be required.
Contract: Upon confirmation of your booking by our office, you will receive an Adobe E-Sign contract for signing. Once signed, the contract will be automatically returned to us. Specify whether you prefer the first payment to be processed with the card on file or another Visa, MasterCard, or check. Payments are only processed after the signed contract is received, and all transactions are manually handled.

This property is absolutely perfect. This is our fourth or fifth year staying here and we honestly have no desire to stay elsewhere! The house is stocked with everything you need and more. The location is perfect - bike or walk to the beach, short drive to Publix and just a short ride out of Sisters Creek to the ocean! The management company is a dream to work with. We had to contact them a few times for personal reasons and they were so kind, caring and accommodating. You absolutely would not regret staying here!

We celebrated our daughter’s college graduation with a trip to The Keys. We had a wonderful trip! The house was spacious, clean, and in a perfect location. Our family enjoyed grilling by the pool and dining under the Tiki hut. We also enjoyed having our boat docked at the home. Keys Ocean Vacation Rentals made the reservation and check in process easy...friendly and accommodating service. This home was added to our family’s favorites. We will definitely book again!

We absolutely loved the beautiful home. It was in the perfect location, spacious, clean and beautiful in every way. And very thoroughly furnished with everything you don’t even realize you need on vacation, ex: books, straws, random kitchen utensils. We’ve been to Marathon many times but this house was by far our favorite and we hope to use it again in the future. (Side note: The sun was brutal so having a touch of shade over the pool would have been amazing, that won’t stop me from booking again though!)

We have rented multiple homes and condos in the Keys but this was by far
The best one yet. The property had everything that one could need for a perfect vacation plus. It was stocked with kitchen gadgets to plenty of silverware and dishes. The tiki hut and pool were perfect if we needed a quick dip..We had no issues with anything being broken. We loved the location near Sombrero beach and being in the middle of the Keys . I was so excited to walk to the beach in the mornings. The mattresses were all very comfortable, even the pull out couch in the sunroom. We went fishing, snorkeled, visited the Key Deer, watched sunsets on the 7 mile bridge, and went to Key West. Got to eat at Frank’s in Marathon, Best linguine and clam sauce ever! We hope to be back next year for our annual Keys Vacation!!

Mockingbird Manor was WONDERFUL!! We are a family of 5 adults and 3 children and the space was perfect. The sun room off the main living area has a great view of the canal and was a perfect place for the kiddos to have their own play room. The neighborhood is quite and location is very convenient to shopping, sightseeing, boating and public beach with a wonderful play ground for the kiddos. The home is beautiful, spacious and lacking in nothing. We enjoyed many days and nights in the pool and the tiki hut for lunches, dinners and a place for shade. We would most definitely return!!

Our family had an amazing time at Mockingbird Manor..!! What a Beautiful Home with absolutely Everything you can think of. The kitchen is beautiful & fully equipped. The living area is extremely spacious and the vaulted ceilings gives it a more open feeling. There is an extra living area nook that is equipped with a sofa bed and can be used as an extra sleeping area if needed. It has a wonderful outdoor patio right off of the living area where you can enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon lunch. The pool is HUGE & was perfectly heated for the weather we received. It was a bit chilly and windy and we were still able to enjoy a nice heated pool throughout the evenings, which was amazing. It has a very spacious dock with a side entrance where we launched our paddle boards & kayaks. The outdoor is very spacious and has a cute tiki hut with perfect lighting for a nice BBQ dinner. The neighborhood is quiet and very close to Sombrero Beach where we enjoyed the sunsets. It's a few minutes from groceries and restaurants, so if you're missing something, it's a quick hop. Extremely convenient. Mallory from Keys Ocean Vacation Rentals was our point of contact & she was amazing. Any questions I had, she responded to quickly. They have great resources & excellent suggestions. I loved their service.!! The house is very nicely taken care of & all of the furniture is in excellent condition. It has a separate spacious laundry room with an extra toilet, so that was a huge plus.!! All of the beds were very comfy and the wifi and cable tv were a huge plus as well. The house also had children's toys for anyone traveling with small kids. It has a cute wet bar with a sink, which came in handy on New Years night. All in all, the home had everything we needed and more. Loved the location and the size and the outdoor and the openness of the living and kitchen areas. We had a wonderful time, and can't wait to go back. Thank you for such a Wonderful stay..!! =) =) =)

This was our third year renting this home and we will be back! The tiki is a great addition! We were able to enjoy the pool area a lot more this year! Easy access for our 32ft twin diesel. Our kids love this house and so do we!

Mockingbird Manor is a beautiful vacation home in Marathon. We were a family of 4 adults and 4 children and we fit perfectly in this house. Our 18.5 ft boat that docked effortlessly and had easy access to the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. The kitchen was full stocked with every appliance you would need, towels were fully stocked. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house was immaculate. The pool and tiki hut were awesome. We snorkeled and fished everyday. The food market was only down the street. The kids fished on the dock too. A Friendly manatee showed up to our excitement one morning. I recommend this house and planning to return ASAP.

Well stocked and very clean. I arrived just before the coronavirus took hold. Got to see turtle release at Sombrero beach and visit the aquarium and Dolphin research center before everything shut down. Overall, I had a wonderful time.

Had a wonderful time in this lovely home. Family and friends came at various times and enjoyed the many activities in the area: paddle boarding, Sombrero Beach, Turtle Hospital, and Dolphin Research Center. Mockingbird Manor was a fantastic place to stay in Marathon! The house has lots of room and is very nicely furnished. The pool was perfect to come home to after a day on the water. The boat dock was perfect for our 33' center console. The view was nice from the house-much more than some of the tight canals we have stayed at before and the neighbors were very friendly. We would definitely stay there again!

We had a great time in this home and will definitely be back! The deep water access was super easy to get in and out with our 32 ft boat. The location to the marina made it very convenient to fuel up and enjoy maximum time on the water. The home was beautiful and our two kids had a blast in the pool. We love Marathon and will rent this home again for sure!
