About
Gulf Pointe Paradise is a tranquil townhouse featuring a balcony with sweeping Gulf of Mexico views. Dockage is available on a first-come, first-served basis and conveniently close to the unit, usually accessible. You can comfortably park two cars or one car and a boat trailer beneath the home.
Interior Highlights:
- Spacious 1,400 sq. ft. of interior space.
- An open living area.
- A well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials.
- A convenient half bath on the main level.
- A king-sized bed in the master bedroom.
- A roomy master bathroom with a shower.
- A queen-sized bed in the guest room.
Outdoor Features:
- Expansive L-shaped decks that encircle the condo, offering Gulf of Mexico views on one side and pool views on the other.
- A heated community pool (note: children must be out of diapers as per condo regulations).
- A gas grill for outdoor cooking.
- A sizeable community dock, just a one-minute walk from the unit, located in the Vaca Cut Channel, providing easy access to both the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic.
- Enjoy stunning sunset views and ample Florida Keys sunshine.
- Parking space for two vehicles; arrangements for a boat trailer must be coordinated with our office. Vehicles must be parked under the building.
Nearby, you'll find two public beaches and a state park. Coco Plum is only a 6-minute drive away, Sombrero Beach is a 15-minute drive, and Curry Hammock State Park is just 8 minutes from the home.
Booking Policies:
Minimum Stay: A 7-night minimum stay is required by city regulations, with no exceptions. The city determines the maximum occupancy, and it cannot be exceeded, covering adults, children, and infants.
Cancellation Policy: We maintain a strict 60-day cancellation policy. If the cancellation is made at least 60 days before the arrival date you can cancel your reservation and receive a full refund, excluding processing and admin fees. If you cancel within 60 days of the arrival date and we are able to secure another booking for the same time by opening the calendar, you will receive a full refund, minus processing and admin fees. If we are unable to secure another rental for the specified time, the security deposit will be the only amount refunded.
Payment Schedule: Half of the rent and the security deposit are due seven days after booking online, with the full balance required 60 days before check-in. Payment options include credit card or check after signing the contract. A 3.5% fee applies to credit card transactions, which can be waived by opting for payment via check. Please inform us of your preferred payment method after booking. For last-minute bookings, a credit card will be required.
Contract: Upon confirmation of your booking by our office, you will receive an Adobe E-Sign contract for signing. Once signed, the contract will be automatically returned to us. Specify whether you prefer the first payment to be processed with the card on file or another Visa, MasterCard, or check. Payments are only processed after the signed contract is received, and all transactions are manually handled.

This was our fourth time staying in Marathon and our third time staying at Gulf Pointe I. However, it was our first time staying in unit 22. I was pleasantly surprised when we walked in. The pictures on the website don’t do the place justice. The living room furniture has been updated and the master bath has been completely updated and is stunning! We actually met the owner of the unit in May. Very nice gentleman with a passion for sailing!Mallory was fantastic to book through! It was a last minute decision to come down. (6 days in advance) She sent texts out with events in the community that we might enjoy!The only downside to the property, not just unit 22, but the entire complex is the neighbors. We surprised my brother and sister-in-law and their kids. The kids were so excited to see each other. They weren’t screaming, but were a little loud. The neighbor within minutes came over and yelled at us. Just an hour earlier she told us how well behaved our kids were. All week they were eagle eyeing everything we and the rest of the vacationers were doing. They yelled at 2 adult couples in pool, making sure to let them know it was dusk. It was to the point any time we made a noise they were peering out their blinds. Our trip in May (different unit) we needed maintenance. While he was giving us suggestions on places to go for dinner my husband put his towel on the rail. Later that day he came over to tell us that hanging towels on rails is absolutely not allowed. It was there less than five minutes and we were standing there talking. Over all, the unit was spotless. The property is beautiful and the owner of the unit was wonderful! You can’t change the nosy neighbors, so we just showed them what it was like to enjoy our children and have fun!
The townhouse was great with the decor and amenities.

The outdoor space of this unit is limited by the non-functional, wicker blinds on all sliding doors. To walk out to the table on the lower level, you have to manually hold up the blind while walking through the door or go through the front door and walk around to the table. The blinds also obstruct the view/natural light as most of them can't even be raised. We had little/very spotty internet during our stay. Finally, this is a retirement community. Most of the residents were very friendly, but the residents in the unit directly next door were not. Within 20 minutes of our arrival, we had several knocks on the door and rings of the doorbell to rudely inform us that we were being too loud. We do have 2 daughters ( 8 and 9 years old) that were excited to arrive after 12 hours of traveling so we were not silent, but not screaming or yelling. The next day, another couple at the pool were asked (nicely) to turn their music down by another long term resident. I could barely hear it from where we were sitting. That evening the resident of the unit next door informed us that the pools hours strictly end at 8:00 pm despite all signs/rules stating the hours are dawn til dusk. We were on eggshells the rest of the week that we would continue to be harassed. This is not a place that I would recommend for children.

We had a great time. This townhouse was everything we wanted and more! It was decorated so beautifully and equipped with everything we needed. The views from the balconies were stunning. I loved waking up and drinking my coffee out there. It was also in a perfect location...close to restaurants, groceries, etc. The pool area was clean and the pool was warm. I would definitely stay here again!

This is the best place we have ever stayed in Marathon! The condo was very spacious - admittedly much larger than 2 people need, with 2 bedrooms/2.5 baths, but we like our space. The kitchen has been remodeled and was very well appointed, and there were plenty of linens & pool towels. A new small washer/dryer in the kitchen closet is very convenient. The bathrooms can use updating, but I would not downgrade the property because of that. Bed was comfortable and there is a TV in the LR and in each bedroom. Our unit was right next to the pool, which was clean and the perfect temperature. Key Colony is almost across the main road, so we walked there every day and stopped at Leigh Ann's for a fabulous breakfast. This is the best place we have ever stayed in Marathon! The condo was very spacious - admittedly much larger than 2 people need, with 2 bedrooms/2.5 baths, but we like our space. The kitchen has been remodeled and was very well appointed, and there were plenty of linens & pool towels. A new small washer/dryer in the kitchen closet is very convenient. The bathrooms can use updating, but I would not downgrade the property because of that. Bed was comfortable and there is a TV in the LR and in each bedroom. Our unit was right next to the pool, which was clean and the perfect temperature. Key Colony is almost across the main road, so we walked there every day and stopped at Leigh Ann's for a fabulous breakfast. The rental was the perfect place for our family vacation! The condo itself was clean, beautiful and included many perks for our week away. We were very comfortable, especially with small children. The facility was very family-friendly which helped us relax and enjoy! Also the property management staff was extremely friendly. It really is a nice place and so are other guests and permanent residents that we met. It is not a place to stay if you are looking to party because everyone is respectful of each other so once the sun goes down it's a very restful place--like I said before "perfect."

Look no further. An available quiet community pool for lounging. No highway traffic noise. Go half day fishing on Marathon Lady for $50/pp. We caught 15 Grunts. Just 5 minutes away. Responsive rental agency.
Absolutely a beautiful place to relax whether it’s reading a book by the poolside or enjoying a sightseeing adventure!
